This is a great little rare 2+2 classic car that would benefit from some TLC on the exterior paint work, some replacement window rubbers and a couple of dash switches. A real alternative to a TR6 and priced realistically.
This GT6 MKII has been dry-stored in the current ownership since the early 00's , by searching via Carjam you will see the mileage has been negligible, literally just a quick trip to the WoF station every 6mths and a run up the road to clear the cobwebs.
Mechanical - having driven this - just after WoF (15/10), replacement plugs, points, compression check (precautionary prior to sale, all good) and carb tune up, the car drives well; the overdrive functions correctly, temperature steady and power delivery just what you would expect from a well cared for straight 6.
Paintwork - from a distance looks great, however, there has been an external respray in its history and some areas are showing signs of poor initial prep e.g flaking on the bonnet and some slight overspray on window/door rubbers.
Panel - really straight, no obvious rust bubbling, spare wheel storage area all clean and original, one crease in the RHF side of the bonnet. Front bumper would appear to be from a Spitfire but fits well.
